EFCC grants Reuben Abati bail over 50 Million Naira Corruption Charge

EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) released former President Goodluck Jonathan‘s spokesperson, Reuben Abati this morning.

“He said was putting up somewhere in Abuja.
Mr. Abati reported himself at the anti-graft office on October 21 following a notice by the agency that he was being sought as an alleged beneficiary of fraud.
He was accused of receiving N50 million from the embattled former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
After initially working out a repayment of N5 million with the EFCC, Abati later told his interrogators that he would not be able to raise any reimbursement, a stalemate that apparently prolonged his stay in custody.
Details of his release will be published as they become available.
