The announcement which was made on the singer’s Instagram page (@officialsolidstar) read; “I sincerely thank everyone that participated in the #WEEDAlbumArtContest – it’s been an enthralling little journey.
I must say; I was thrilled by the number of talents I saw during the contest. It gladdens my heart to see how much potential my fans have. But like every journey, it has to come to an end – I’d pick every single one of the entries if I could but only 20 could be selected.
However, in a week’s time the winner will be selected from the top 20 – you can all vote for your favourite by liking it. The artwork with the highest number of likes would emerge winner.” He concluded.
The contest was first announced in mid-September on the singer’s social media pages; as an avenue to give back to his fans for their unending support over the years. Solidstar urged graphic designers among his fans to participate as the winner of the contest will take home; a brand new Macbook Pro.
However, the songster is currently on a music tour in Australia.
The ‘Wait Refix’ singer’s highly anticipated album ‘WEED’ representing the phrase; “Witness Everything Exceptionally Different” is scheduled for release by this October, 2016.
