Why Is Guardiola So Harsh To YAYA Toure?

There are obviously things that don’t match together:

1) Water And Oil

2) Petrol And Fire

3) Pep Guardiola And Yaya Toure

In an astonishing admission, Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said that he dropped Yaya Toure for their champions league qualifier trip to Romania because he felt it would be a wasted trip for the Ivorian.

A wasted trip for a crucial champions league qualifier?

“He is training amazing but I was not sure he was going to play so I would prefer him to stay in Manchester,” said the manager.

Lol.

Toure, 33, was not even in the squad for Manchester City’s opening fixture in the Premier League against Sunderland despite being fit and this is not the first time the duo have had personal issues.

In 2009 when Guardiola was appointed as Barcelona’s coach, he favored  Sergio Busquets in the defensive role over Yaya, forcing the 33-year old to quit the club.
