Popular singer, Simi in a recent interview with Genevieve magazine opens up about romance, finding true love, her parents divorce and God.
When asked how much of a romantic she is, the ‘Love don’t care’ singer said, “I am a romantic for sure. If I could, I would fall in love everyday. I think romance is beautiful.”
On her song ‘Love don’t care’, “People care, society cares, culture cares about class, status, tribe and even religion. But love itself couldn’t care less. You love who you love. I should add, though, that these factors can and will affect what we ddo with the love but it can’t change the love.”
Talking about her parents separating at 9, “My dad passed on two years ago, but I’ve got to say their separation kind of jaded me a bit.
I was nine but I knew that live wouldn’t always go how you want it to go and I had conversations with them that kids my age don’t have. I was hurt but we moved on. That’s the best life can offer, really.”
The ‘Jamb question’ crooner in a recent interview with The Sun News admitted that she is in a romantic relationship with someone said she hopes that the person is the one she ends up settling down with.
According to her, that should naturally be the outcome when one is emotionally invested in a love affair.
